Description: 

In Sanubia Desert on Bikanel Island, there are large Sand Worms enemies. If they are attacked a set number of times, they will counter the attacker with the Swallow ability, in which they will inhale that party member and remove them from battle temporarily, followed by their Regurgitate ability, which causes that party member to be Delayed. These can be fought in the Monster Arena once captured.

There are other variants of this creature in the game with the same ability, known as the Abyss Worm and Land Worm.

Description: 

Very early in the game, Tidus will wind up in what is later known to be the submerged Baaj Temple, where the large cage-like fiend Geosgaeno resides. After fighting some Sahagin fiends, Geosgaeno makes its appearance and tries to swallow Tidus by sucking up the water around him, however Tidus narrowly escapes in a cutscene.

Much later in the game, once the airship is obtained, a return can be made to Baaj Temple to face Geosgaeno to a rematch, though the party members are limited to Tidus, Wakka and Rikku, as they are the only characters that can hold their breath for an extended period. In this second fight, Geosgaeno is able to inhale the party members individually to trap them in its chest cavity, where they can struggle inside to cause damage. Doing so will cause Geosgaeno to regurgitate them for heavy damage.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy [PS4, XBONE] – Whale / Spyro

Description: 

In the third game of the trilogy, Spyro the Dragon: Year of the Dragon, there is a whale wearing swimming trunks swimming in the waters of Evening Lake. If Spyro swims in front of it, it will open its mouth, allowing Spyro to swim inside to retrieve Jonah’s dragon egg. If Spyro swims toward the whale’s teeth again, he will be burped out. Unlike the original PS1 version, this can be repeated.

Description: 

In the third game of the trilogy, Spyro the Dragon: Year of the Dragon, a cutscene can be triggered after completing a level in the Midday Gardens hub world. In said scene, Bianca, the Sorceress’ apprentice conjures a rabbit monster that overpowers her and swallows her. An enraged Hunter comes to her rescue by forcing the rabbit monster to regurgitate her.

In the second game of the trilogy, Spyro the Dragon: Ripto’s Rage!, there is a challenge in which Spyro must feed a hungry idol fish that leap out of the water. Red fish will cause the idol to regurgitate the three previous fish eaten.

Bloodborne [PS4] – Labyrinth Mole / Hunter

Description: 

The Labyrinth Mole is a rare creature found only in the Chalice Dungeons of the game, resembling a star-nosed mole. It will occasionally pull the Hunter toward itself using its appendages to swallow them briefly, before regurgitating them. Description: 

Fairly early in the game, after fighting the Spikey Tiger boss, Luka will ask you to investigate the waterfalls immediately east of the Water Palace. Inside, there will be a small pink egg patterned with a love heart that births a pink tadpole dubbed Tonpole in the English version. It is incapable of any special attacks and is only able to cause damage by jumping around.

Once damaged a sufficient amount, the music will change to boss battle music and the Tonpole will mature into a Biting Lizard, a blue lizard capable of an unnamed tongue attack that will grab a party member from mid-range and swallow them. Unlike the SNES version of the game, they appear to willingly spit out the party members. Read the rest of this entry »

The following is spoiler-heavy.

At the end of the DLC, Captain Scarlett and Her Pirate’s Booty, heading to the location indicated by the completed compass will cause the Leviathan to appear and swallow the Vault Hunter, shown in first-person-perspective. Once control is returned, a boss fight ensues inside the Leviathan’s belly after encountering Captain Scarlett, complete with digestive juices and in the Leviathan’s gut. Once defeated, Captain Scarlett with teleport out, and the player is regurgitated at the Vault, where the final boss fight ensues. Read the rest of this entry »

Description:

In Idol Springs, the third listed stage of the game, swimming through an underwater passage at the beginning of the level will lead you to Foreman Bud, who requests your help in three activities. In the second activity, you are tasked with feeding a giant idol a total of 10 fish. Blue and yellow fish add one to the counter, whereas feeding it a red fish will cause it to regurgitate a number of fish it had already eaten. (Chalked up to a sensitive stomach, supposedly.)
