Description:
The first boss of the game is the Giant Squid, and can only be fought while in human form. The squid will occasionally inhale Jin and chew on him, during which time buttons can be mashed to make Jin struggle, causing him to be spit out at the screen sooner. Being killed by this attack will simply cause Jin to fall over as the screen fades to black; he is not swallowed and there is no special animation.

Description:
Throughout the game, there are truffle power-ups that grant the use of magical abilities. The first is gifted to Jin very early in the game while he is still human, who is reluctant to eat it because of how cute it looks, however he is told they “want to be eaten,” which contradicts their facial expressions as it happens. He promptly shoves it into his mouth.
All subsequent truffles can only be devoured by Jin while he is in pig form, as he is the only one that can unearth them. The differences being that as a pig, Jin will toss them in the air before eating them, and let out a little fart after doing so.

Description:
In this simple soccer free-kick iOS game, power-ups are available once a certain number of goals are achieved to make scoring easier. After 10 goals, a tyrannosaurus can be summoned to appear and eat the opponent goalie, as well as scaring off the opposing players. It will pick him up up in its jaws, chew and swallow, before walking off screen again.

Description:
The Great Malboro can be fought in the end-game in the Farplane. They will very rarely use their Chomp attack in which they will grab a party member with its jaws and chew on them, before spitting them out. In the International version and the HD Remaster versions of the game, the Creature Creator can be accessed to recruit monsters, including the Great Malboro into the party, though direct commands cannot be given to monster party members. This allows the attack to be used on virtually any enemy in the game.

The first boss of the game is Boris, a spider-like fiend. It will rarely use the Spider Bite attack to pick up one of the girls in its mouth, shake them around before spitting them back out.

Description:
The Great Malboro enemies can be encountered in the Omega Ruins, Inside Sin or the Monster Arena if captured. If attacked with Delay Attack/Buster, it will counter by chomping the party member who inflicted Delay on it, before spitting them out. Interestingly, Aeons can also fall prey to the chomp attack, including Valefor (bird-like Aeon), Ifrit (demon-like Aeon), Ixion (unicorn Aeon), Shiva (female ice-elemental Aeon), Bahamut (dragon Aeon) and Anima (monster-like Aeon).
The Malboro Menace, which can only be fought in the Monster Arena, apparently has this ability as well, however, it seems to be much more difficult to trigger it to use its chomping attack.

Description:
In Sanubia Desert on Bikanel Island, there are large Sand Worms enemies. If they are attacked a set number of times, they will counter the attacker with the Swallow ability, in which they will inhale that party member and remove them from battle temporarily, followed by their Regurgitate ability, which causes that party member to be Delayed. These can be fought in the Monster Arena once captured.
There are other variants of this creature in the game with the same ability, known as the Abyss Worm and Land Worm.
Final Fantasy X [Computer, PS2, PS3, PS4, Switch, Vita, XBONE] – Geosgaeno / Tidus, Wakka, Rikku

Description:
Very early in the game, Tidus will wind up in what is later known to be the submerged Baaj Temple, where the large cage-like fiend Geosgaeno resides. After fighting some Sahagin fiends, Geosgaeno makes its appearance and tries to swallow Tidus by sucking up the water around him, however Tidus narrowly escapes in a cutscene.
Much later in the game, once the airship is obtained, a return can be made to Baaj Temple to face Geosgaeno to a rematch, though the party members are limited to Tidus, Wakka and Rikku, as they are the only characters that can hold their breath for an extended period. In this second fight, Geosgaeno is able to inhale the party members individually to trap them in its chest cavity, where they can struggle inside to cause damage. Doing so will cause Geosgaeno to regurgitate them for heavy damage.

Description:
Much like the original Spyro games, in order for Spyro to restore health, Sparx must be fed butterflies, either from jars or from defeating fodder animals, such as sheep. He will chase them around in circles before eating them with a loud chomp.

Description:
During Molly’s sequence, she has a dream, or hallucination, in which she becomes a cat, jumping out of her window to chase a wood swallow. The player controls in her perspective, jumping on branches in order to catch her. Once caught, she will turn into an owl and swoop to catch two rabbits. She abruptly turns into a shark while swallowing the second rabbit, and tumbles down into the ocean where she will eat a seal. She then turns into a tentacled monster and pulls three sailors from a boat into her. Throughout she will describe what she is feeling and how her prey tastes.
