If you have come across an encounter that has not yet been written about, I would very much appreciate it if you could let me know. This page and its comments are reserved for suggestions. When writing a comment to suggest an encounter, it would be great to know:

  • the name or title of the media it came from
  • a brief description of the encounter
  • and if possible any helpful links that would make it easier for me to track down.

Negatives list

As an inverse to the to-do list, I thought it might be useful to set up a list, for media we are fairly certain have no scenes relevant to this site. This way, anyone who would seek out scenes might save time and money, avoiding looking among these titles. If you’ve checked a game or other media quite thoroughly, and feel like I would not be interested in investigating it, feel free to let me know as well.

If you feel there are things I’ve missed in these titles, or you feel that some of these should deserve their own entry, please leave a comment.

  • Banana Kong [Android, iOS]
  • Diablo [Computer, PS1]
  • Diablo II [Computer]
    • Corpulent enemies can eat and spit out dead enemies as projectiles, but no live ones.
  • Downwell [Android, Computer, iOS, Switch, PS4, Vita]
    • A trait can be acquired to devour dead enemies for health, but no live ones.
  • Final Fantasy [NES]
  • The Flintstones: The Treasure of Sierra Madrock [SNES]
  • Goof Troop [SNES]
  • Illusion of Time/Gaia [SNES]
    • Seth does get swallowed by the sea monster, Riverson (may be a translation error of ‘Leviathan’), when he falls overboard a ship, but this is only described in text, and the sea monster is never even seen in-game. Seth’s consciousness is absorbed into the sea monster’s and later in the game manages to communicate with the main character again.
  • The Incredible Machine [Computer]
  • Joe & Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics [SNES]
  • The King of Dragons [Arcade, SNES]
  • Kirby’s Avalanche [SNES]
  • The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past [SNES]
    • Pikits can steal from Link using a long tongue, but will not grab Link himself.
  • Magical Cat Adventure [Arcade]
  • Minecraft [3DS, Android, Computer, iOS, PS3, PS4, Switch, Vita, Wii U, XB360, XBONE]
  • Ratchet and Clank [PS4]
    • Pool Sharks exist in this game, but when they bite Ratchet, he doesn’t disappear into their mouths like in the previous games.
  • Super Mario Bros. [NES, SNES]
  • Terraria [3DS, Android, Computer, iOS, PS3, PS4, Switch, Vita, Wii U, XB360, XBONE]
  • Tokyo Afterschool Summoners [Android, iOS]
    • Some characters do make comments about eating you (Macan, Arsalan, Nomad and Gyumao), but this is as far as it goes, and is only displayed as speech and text.
    • In one of the Valentine’s events, Inugami leaps into Behemoth’s mouth and into his stomach to eat the food inside, but this is only described in text.
  • Wonder Boy III: The Dragon’s Trap [GG, SMS, TG-16]
  • Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair [Computer, PS4, Switch, XBONE]
    • Yooka can grab objects with his tongue to hold in his jaw, but not enemies. Does not eat butterflies in this game.
  • 究極!!PC原人 [Arcade]
    • In one level there is a clam that will suck in the player, but does only contact damage.
    • Although, enemies can eat food items the player drops with a decent lip licking.

  1. I’m not sure if I should be posting this here, but there’s a game for the iphone called ”Boss” which lets you play like a giant boss with beat-em up kind of gameplay, and in which you can modify the looks of your boss. In the game, there are princesses wondering around which you can eat to regain some health (You can see the animation of the boss picking up the princess and bringing her to it’s mouth, but you can’t see how he stuffs the princess in his mouth.).
So, I just wanted to contribute with something =).

    • Here is fine. I think I’ll just nuke the actual “Contributions” page and just lump them with the “Suggestions” page anyway.

Thanks for letting me know about this game – “WackyLands Boss”, right? I’ll try check it out in future. Do you happen to have pictures or videos of the game?

  2. Found a vore video from the jetsons while searching for cartoons with shrinking scenes. George shrinks down and there is a scene where he goes to bed and astro (the dog) starts snoring in it’s sleep. While he is snoring, he also begins to inhale george because he is so small, so he ends up in astro’s mouth with no vore, but it’s still a good scene.

I found it on this site (It’s a turkish video site): I think: http://www.trilulilu.ro/penguins/8e74bc65302d35)
Oh, and the near-vore scene starts around at 14:50

And there’s also a quack pack mouth stuffing moment, althought I’m not sure what’s the episode’s name. Anyways, here it is: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xdga3_quack-pack_news

    • I’ll add it to the list of things to check out. Thanks.

  3. Two suggestions I have that I am quite surprised I haven’t seen here yet are:

Hercules the animated series – When Pain & Panic fuse to become a giant lion and one head devours Hercules while the other proceeds to spit him out shortly after.

Shadoan – A PC game, playable now only on DOS Box in combination with Daemon Tools, the red dragon Rohan grabs the struggling hero in his jaws then swallows him whole. A clip of it from youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ymwug3okG_I

Another shadoan scene if you linger in the early portion of the game too long: a black dragon (Allegedly the red dragons younger sister) swoops down and snatches the hero up in her jaws and flies away, supposedly eating him afterwards: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATxieZNTuPw

    • Thanks for your suggestions. I’m currently figuring out how to feature scenes from copyrighted shows and films without getting anybody angry. Games tend to be simpler in that way.

      2011 December 19 at 23:13

  4. One other suggestion I have (I’ll try and record it myself when I get the chance, but be warned I’ve had pretty bad luck with my current recording tools – I recorded a 24 minute battle against Omega Mk I in Final Fantasy I only to have the first five minutes be all chopped up and scrambled, and the audio was out of place throughout most of the rest of the film. Sucks, because I won too!) is a worm predator from Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap when you’re tiny these little worms will swallow you and pass you through their digestive tract. I still have the game so I can try recording that part since I don’t think there is any YouTube clips of that yet.

    2011 December 20 at 00:09

    • Ah, yes, I remember the Minish Cap. When he’s all shrunk and stuff.

      2011 December 20 at 00:11

    • By the way, are you happy that your website link is visible publicly? I don’t think it’s actually required to post, and I wouldn’t want your FA to be spammed or anything.

      2011 December 20 at 00:59

  5. I doubt it’d make much of a difference really. It hardly gets much traffic as it is, and what I do get are usually “Add the picture to my favorites but never comment” sort.

I can just remove the link later though right?

    2011 December 20 at 01:27

  6. There is this video from “Killer Instinct” where this anthro velociraptor devours a fighter (Off-screen) and then displays a large and wiggling stomach. After a few seconds it apparently has digested all of it because he stands up with no bulge in his gut.

    2012 January 23 at 09:25

    • I’ll get on that as soon as I can.

      2012 February 16 at 22:03

  7. I have two obscure suggestions. Actually, three.

One is for the 32X game Tempo. One level goes through almost the whole digestive tract from mouth to intestine. It’s very stylized and cartoonish. The predator is either a polar bear or dog, and the prey is the titular character, a grasshopper.

The sequel for this game, Super Tempo on the Saturn, has a frog enemy that can eat Tempo, and spits him up as a skeleton. It probably does the same to the other playable character, a butterfly, though I haven’t gotten close enough to the frogs with her to see.

My last suggestion is Ardy Lightfoot for the Super Nintendo, which has a level where the main character and a boss, a female fox, are eaten by a giant worm. This may fall under macabre/horror though, since you find the partially-digested or skeletal remains, or the body of, the latter depending on the version played, and based on a lowering ceiling the tract seems sentient. However, it may just be me.

Oh, I almost forgot: Abadox is an NES game that, like the level in Tempo I mentioned, goes through the entire tract.

    2012 February 24 at 16:39

    • Thank you for your suggestions. Obscure ones are probably the best kind. As far as macabre and horror type of things – you are right, if it’s too gory or too scary I’d be a little hesitant to post about it, but by the sounds of it, they don’t sound too bad.

      2012 February 25 at 00:18

      • I checked out the Lightfoot game, and it turns out most of the digestion related stuff was removed in the English version, so you’d have to find a video of the original Japanese version which shouldn’t be a problem since it doesn’t seem to have much dialogue or text-related puzzles.

The ‘eaten’ bit can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYVS1fYQsMY at around 1:25 into the video. No pools of stomach acid in this video, but some drops from the “ceiling” are there. Supposedly you die if you touch them, doesn’t happen in this video though.

        2012 February 25 at 11:39

        • Hm, interesting.

          I’m just going to… edit your post… if you don’t mind…

          2012 February 25 at 19:22

  8. It’s your blog, so I don’t mind at all. :)

    2012 February 26 at 01:32

  9. If suggestions are still being taken, there’s one creature and video I’m surprised hasn’t made it onto the site yet.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b7XZIiqwKT4 The ‘Hydra’ boss fight from Capcom’s “Dragon’s Dogma” battle. This is (IMO) one of the better videos since it’s of a fairly decent resolution, and has some very good views of the bulges in the hydra’s neck. Not many mawshots though. There is another video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-nyk0bzK1j0 that has a few frames of the maw with the throat visible that isn’t obstructed by the player, but he does pause the game to take screenshots at a few points.

    • Sorry, I never ended up replying to this comment even though I did see it way back when. Thanks as always.

      2019 May 28 at 17:36

  10. A game you could add to the list is the Munchers Deluxe series. Math Muncher and Word Muncher along with some of the other Munchers series games all had a lot of vore in them.

    2017 September 25 at 16:19

    • Late reply, sorry. Thank you for your suggestions.

      2019 May 28 at 17:37

  11. Frampt, Mimic, Gaping Dragon, Centipede Demon, and Chaos Demon from Dark Souls:

Lickety Spit from Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime:

The Chameleon from Soleil / Crusader of Centy:

Various creatures from The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap such as the Moldworm and Giant Octorok~

  12. there’s one in “Final Fantasy 15” where an enemy called the black flan, one of its attacks is to suck you into its mouth and chew on the player.. The player can struggle to get out, flan can also chew on other characters.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPLITdewE5k the flan chew is around 1:30

    2020 June 11 at 00:19

    • Thank you. I’ll add it to the list.

      2020 June 11 at 06:27

  13. The Dopefish from an old DOS game called Commander Keen (Game #4: Goodbye Galaxy) should be a worthy mention. It even burps in front of the screen with some bubbles. :)
I donno if it was already mentioned or not, but it just came to mind when I saw the suggestions page.

    2020 June 14 at 00:19

    • Sounds familiar, but I don’t have it on my list yet.
