God of War [PC, PS4] – Jormungandr / Kratos, Atreus

Media: video game: “God of War”
Developer: Santa Monica Studio
Platform: Computer, PlayStation 4

Description:

The World Serpent, Jörmungandr, is encountered a number of times in the Lake of Nine as a non-hostile entity.

During the second encounter, when Mimir calls him for the first time, Jörmungandr will awaken and devour the statue of Thor, whom he despises.

Towards the end of the game, Kratos is tasked to retrieve Mimir’s missing eye, which is believed to have been hidden in the statue Jörmungandr swallowed. When summoning him the final time, Mimir explains their intentions, and Jörmungandr agrees to allow Kratos and Atreus to enter his mouth to find the statue in his belly.

Various structures and boats can be seen inside the Belly of the Beast. When reaching into the stomach acid to collect items, Atreus will comment on how the ‘water’ burns.

After collecting Mimir’s eye, Kratos and Atreus will begin to paddle their way out, but are forcefully regurgitated to a different area, due to being attacked by the antagonist, Baldur.

Neopets [Web] – Grarrl, Skeith, Jetsam / Various

Media: video game: “Neopets”
Developer: The Neopets Team
Platform: Web

Note: The following screenshots have been heavily edited to conceal identifying pet names and usernames.

Description:

Normally items in Neopets have predetermined uses; you can read items to Neopets if they are books, use them to play if they are toys, equip if they are equipment, feed if they are food, et cetera. There are exceptions, such as Grarrls (T-rex-type) and Skeiths (dragon/demon-type), who are known for their appetite for anything, and indeed, can eat any item, including items that are sentient, such as Petpets and any other non-food item, like furniture or rocks (exceedingly rare and expensive items are not exempt from this) and will often comment on the taste. Level of satiety will also be commented on. Jetsams (shark-type) can do this as well, but only with aquatic Petpets, and doing so actually unlocks a special avatar.
