Description: 

In the second world, Treasure Trove Cove, there are sentient treasure boxes that constantly open and close their toothy mouths, and contain items inside that can be collected. As they are invulnerable, they cannot be destroyed; Banjo and Kazooie must flip inside their mouths in order to collect them. Touching their teeth will incur damage.

Banjo-Kazooie [N64, XB360] – Tanktup / Banjo, Kazooie

Description: 

In the fourth world, Bubblegloop Swamp, there is a large turtle named Tanktup that complains of being numb and cold. Performing the Beak Buster on all of his limbs will cause him to spit out a Jiggie, and keep his mouth open to allow Banjo and Kazooie inside for a mini-game and another Jiggie. Oddly, his insides appear to be of his shell, rather than his stomach. This is where the Tiptup Choir resides.

It is also possible to enter while Banjo is in his crocodile form.

Description: 

In the second world, Treasure Trove Cove (as well as in the eighth world, Rusty Bucket Bay), Snacker the Shark inhabits the waters. If Banjo and Kazooie swim in certain waters, Snacker will appear and try to bite at them, but will not engulf or swallow, even if all hit points are depleted. Only in Treasure Trove Cove, will Snacker talk about having them for dinner, making comments comparing them to food and commenting on their taste after biting them.

Banjo-Kazooie [N64, XB360] – Clanker / Banjo, Kazooie

Description: 

In the third world, Clanker’s Cavern, there is a large semi-mechanical ‘whale’ named Clanker who supposedly acts as a garbage disposal. Though he is referred to in-game as a whale and has a blowhole, his appearance, as well as the presence of gills, screams “shark.” Upon freeing him from being chained underwater and collecting the Jiggie on his back, he will complain of a toothache and request Banjo and Kazooie’s help. Two golden teeth can be shot at using eggs, causing them to fall in. Banjo and Kazooie can then enter this space into his mouth and body, where pools of water, flesh and metal can be seen. Entry is also possible through his gills and his blowhole, leading to different parts of his body.

In the Forest of Elrit, there is a plant mini-boss known as Alraune. Accompanying it are the smaller Alraune Mandragora, which, when encountering a Grizzly, will swallow them. The Alraune and Alraune Mandragora do not exist in the original PS2 version.

Spyro the Dragon 2 [PS1, PS3] – Lava Lizard / Bonebuilder

Description:

In Skelos Badlands, the eleventh listed stage of the game, one of the cavemen will ask you to save their chums from being eaten by Lava Lizards. If a single one gets eaten, you’re treated to a scene where one of the lizards tosses a caveman into the air, swallowing him and then spitting up a bone they tie their hair with.

At the end of the game, once all 16 of the skill points have been achieved, you are treated to an ‘epilogue’ – still images that feature many of the different characters of the game and what supposedly happens to them after the ending. One of them features Moneybags in the jaws of a Lava Lizard. Continue reading
