Spyro’s companion, Sparx the Dragonfly serves a number of purposes. Among being able to locate and collect gems, Sparx also acts as Spyro’s health meter in this game. Depending on how much health Spyro has remaining, Sparx may be gold in colour, blue, green or simply absent.
