Description:
In the third game of the trilogy, Spyro the Dragon: Year of the Dragon, there is a whale wearing swimming trunks swimming in the waters of Evening Lake. If Spyro swims in front of it, it will open its mouth, allowing Spyro to swim inside to retrieve Jonah’s dragon egg. If Spyro swims toward the whale’s teeth again, he will be burped out. Unlike the original PS1 version, this can be repeated.

In all honestly, this is by far the CREEPIEST incarnation of the original whale from this game. Why did they have to redesign the whale this much? It’s like, too goofy looking now. 😦
To be honest, I never played the original Spyro 3, so I saw this guy before seeing the original. I don’t think the new guy is THAT bad. I think the swimming trunks are cute.
